Good to Know
Please aim to arrive by 16:00. The ceremony begins promptly at 16:30 at Bishops Stortford Register Office.
Town-centre car parks such as Northgate End and Jackson Square are a short walk from both venues. On-street parking nearby is limited, so the car parks are your best bet.
Formal — dress to impress, and comfy enough to dance!
The Ramada and Days Inn at M11 Birchanger Services are close by, or stay in town at the historic George Hotel. See Travel & Stay above for links.
It's about a 10-minute stroll (roughly half a mile) — downhill from the Register Office on Hockerill Street, across the River Stort and into the town centre to Roni's on North Street. Lovely if it's dry. Prefer not to walk? Taxis are easy to find, and there's parking near Roni's.
Just note it in your RSVP and we'll make sure you're looked after. One thing to know: the evening bar and dancing at Roni's are upstairs, while the ceremony and dinner are step-free.
